Auto remarks

Applicable to:    TimeGuard Network | TimeGuard Pro



In this window you add auto-remarks that are available to all the projects.

Auto-remarks are very useful and can save you typing if some remarks are frequently used. The Auto-remarks pop-up menu is available in the Input window and in other windows when right clicking the remark text-box or the remark link (see image below).
Click the 'New' link to add a new auto-remark.

Note: Remarks can be used to search the reports. The 'Auto-remarks' mechanism can be very useful to tag tasks and expenses. It is recommended to enclose those auto remarks tags with characters like parenthesis (like this), or other characters <like this>. In the reports window, check the 'By remark' checkbox and use free text to filter tasks and expenses.

    Legend:

  1. Menu bar.
  2. Remarks list.
  3. Remarks options. You can also right click inside the table for the same options.
  4. Remarks description section.  
  5. The task type description.  
  6. Remarks field.
  7. Save task type button: saves a new task, or updates an existing one.
  8. Auto-remarks pop-up (below), is available in TimeGuard windows by right-clicking any remark text box, or the supplier field in the input window.
    Below is a sample of the Auto-remarks pop-up that is available in the Input window--->'Remark' text box .
