Prepare reports for a client

Applicable to:    TimeGuard Network | TimeGuard Pro



The tasks list report and the expenses list report allow you to select the columns that appear in the report. This is useful when you need to send a report to your client but want that some of the columns will be left out.

  1. Open the Activity & Billing Reports or the Expenses Reports (use the navigation pop-up menu ).
  2. Select the 'Tasks list' or 'Expenses list' in the 'Report' list.
  3. Check the 'By client' check box and select a client from the list, or check the 'By project' check box and select a project from the list.
  4. Check the 'Client report columns' checkbox at the bottom left of TimeGuard Reports' window.



  5. To change the columns which appear in the report table, click the 'Edit' link, and then select the desired columns in 'TimeGuard Settings'  window.
  6. When you finish, close 'TimeGuard Settings' window.
  7. In 'TimeGuard Reports' window, select one of the options that fit your need: 'Export Report', 'Email Report as PDF' or 'Print' (see the icons tool bar at the top of  'TimeGuard Reports' window).
