General tab

Applicable to:    TimeGuard Network | TimeGuard Pro

In the Settings window you can change aspects of TimeGuard's operation and adjust features to your personal preferences.
In the 'General' tab, you set general aspects of TimeGuard's behavior.

Note: 'Application settings' are local and affects only the current PC.

   

Legend:

1. 'Show 'Report tasks and expenses' dialog...':  defines if to show the dialog when the PC or TimeGuard are turned ON.
2. 'Show 'Switch task dialog' when a task is paused':  defines if to show the switch task dialog when pausing a running task.
3. 'Show monthly reminfer...':  The monthly reminder is useful to keep your copy of TimeGuard up-to-date. We recommend that you keep the checkbox checked.
4. 'Hide non-active projects...':  Hides non-active projects in the project selection lists to ease navigation.
5. 'Use 'Verify pop-up' sound':  Enable or disable the sound of the 'Verify' pop-up.
6. 'Use windows fade affect':  Enable or disable the fade affect of all windows.
7. 'Backup Activation Codes' button:  Creates a text file with the activation codes in TimeGuard's directory if you need the codes again.
8. 'Restore System Defaults' button:  Restore all TimeGuard's settings to factory defaults.
9. 'Close' button:  closes 'Application Settings' window, and saves all the settings.
